Founded in 2010, Res sence represents an independent way of thinking about fine watchmaking, expertly crafted but with a modern approach to design and aesthetics. Founder Benoît Mintiens considered what a watch might look like if it were a 21st Century invention, the results are truly stunning. In 2011, Res sence patented a fully in-house movement 'ROCS' which featured in the Zero Series and in 2013 Res sence won the Horological Revelation prize at the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève for the Type 3, the first ever oil filled watch. An invention that eliminates refraction between the dial and crystal, allowing legibility from all angles. Introducing the Type 1N from Res sence. Showcasing a slim round 42mm grade 5 titanium case with a double-domed Sapphire crystal glass with an anti-reflective coating on the inside, and an elegant convex German blue dial with engraved Super-LumiNova detail for clear legibility in all lights. A powerful patented ROCS 1.3 Caliber offers expert precision and provides a 36-hour power reserve.
