This elegant 30mm wris twatch is a modern interpretation of the celebrated 62GS, Grand Seiko’s first mechanical model to feature automatic winding. It is c haracterized by its distinctive bezel-free construction, which allows for a seamless integration of the crystal with the case. Like its predecessor, this modern reinterpretation features the characteristic sharp edges and perfectly distortion-free surfaces that on ly Zaratsu polishing can create, along with a wide dial opening achieved through the bezel-free design. The dial draws inspiration f rom the tranquil beauty of cherry blossoms softly illuminated under a hazy, moonlit sky. In early spring, the significant temperatur e shifts between day and night often create a misty or foggy ambiance, diffusing the moonlight into a gentle, blurred glow. This enc hanting scene is elegantly captured through a delicately textured pattern and a subtle silver color hue. It is powered by Grand Seik o’s smallest automatic mechanical movement, Caliber 9S27. With a case diameter of 30mm and a thickness of just 10.5mm, this new crea tion is the most compact 62GS designs and one of the slimmest automatic Grand Seiko timepieces today.
